For fans of early Death, Obituary, Asphyx, Sacrifice, and Demolition Hammer.

Metal Injection on the album’s debut single wrote, ‘The song [Gruesome Tools of Torture] is about surgical dismemberment without anesthesia, because maximum suffering is clearly the only option when it comes to death metal. It certainly helps that the song sonically fits the lyrics.’ Giant metal outlet The PIT adds, ‘When you blend death and thrash metal together, you can expect music that sounds both exhilarating and haunting. That is what Detherous achieve when it comes to their new song ‘Gruesome Tools of Torture’; you have a song that sounds evil as hell and offers a riveting rush.’ The sophomore album from these Canadian heavyweights is even more intense, ferocious and unhinged than their critically acclaimed debut!
